  • Zook of coarse I know the Democrats have their shady lot....We are not any different then the Republicans the only difference is the names of the parties. The reason I support Obama and will continue to support him is because YOU GUYS never gave him a chance from day one he stepped into office. When Bush was President (oops I'm not suppose to talk about the past) I don't care I'm talking anyways. I felt sorry for him, I hated hearing the jokes about him and the video clips of him stumbling or doing something wrong. So I go through 8 years of listening to all this nonsense and then turn around and get to hear it all over again when Obama was elected.

I think it's terrible and shows so much disrespect. We should pull together as a Country instead of knocking each other down....

Getting back to that letter I agree that Santorum is the most Conservative one of the candidates. But he's carrying some baggage, some weird Idea's that won't carry him.

No matter who wins and moves into the white house I will not disrespect a President and I will not sit on this site and call whoever it is names as those have been called in the past.

I know you all think I'm confused but I'm not at all. I am an independent and I will vote for the one I think will do the best job. Go ahead and beat me up because I don't think like YOU GUYS do...

I'm an old school lady who was taught to respect others and I also don't use those 4 letter words that are so popular today in everyday language male or female. I was taught that was showing disrespect

Gotta go let the dogs out for a bit and then lock down the palace .....Be back in a bit

Woes Mike, didn't see your post! Was referring to now we know why she supports Obama. As good a reason as any, when there really is no good reason.. of course that's my opinion...

    Still unapologetic

  • Well Jessie you probably don't get what I was talking about because you weren't taught the way I was... And your way younger then me... Which is why I can understand your comment and you don't get mine :)

  • MsM:

I am going to respectfully tell you that course is spelled this way: Of course. You have coarse hair, that way.

I didn't want you to be offended, but it will help you make your point better.

It is your right to show respect for the president in any fashion that you want to. It is our right to point out the failed policies and arrogant statements that have been made by this administration.

He works for us and we have every right to critique his performance. I don't call him names nor do I try to label anyone.

As Mike says, clean the whole house, not sweep all the dirt under the rug and pretend that it isn't there. Sooner or later someone is going to lift the rug and be pretty shocked.

  • A candidate that say's he doesn't believe in the separation of church and state is going to raise a lot of hackles on both sides.

A candidate that doesn't understand that we don't buy a drop of oil from Iran is going to raise many questions about his intelligence.

A candidate that willing to let the American auto industry fail and be cannibalized for what ever profit could be made is really not setting well anywhere.

Three candidates willing to get us into another war. All I can say is this time be ready to pay for it, not borrow.

All three stock indexes at or near levels not seen for 4 years. Manufacturing jobs growing. The only thing that will take many years to recover is housing.

I'm going to only comment to this once more MsM, (towards you anyway) cuz you'd go on and on, and I don't really care to engage.

I don't think you know how I was raised. If you're talking about with respect and honor, it is in no way lacking in my upbringing. I at times feel it is lacking in yours, in the way that you feel a need to jab, and "HA!" Age has no part of my amount or quality of respect, and yours and my discussions prove it. You may or not get that, but others will.

As far as my age and not getting your comment, yes...I do. I almost equate your adoration to him similar to a beaten wife, who keeps telling her husband "I love you" Or a dog that never is rewarded and is sometimes kicked, but still is loyal to his Master. In many ways, that is to be admired. But lots of times, I just wish that dog would leave, and put the loyalty in a well deserved arena.

Please don't worry about having offended me. I'd have to care more for that to happen. And certainly my feelings are not hurt, same reasoning.

I'm sure you'll comment, but I won't reply on this blog ... though I may comment with other banterers.

    Me too!

Not cuz you're a "Cute little man" or cause you have the title "President" (giving me irrational notions that I should just respect the President)...or cuz I should for any other reason. I BELIEVE deeply that you care DEEPLY for AMERICA.

Thanks for the word correction. I usually have my handy dandy dictionary close by, however I was on my laptop and in another room where I don't keep it. Wish there was a spell checker on here :). My spelling sometimes can be awful... Funny thing way back when I went to school spelling was easy for me. Use to get A's and win spelling bee's, you'd never know that now...

Jessie I wasn't talking about how your parents raised you... I don't expect you to get it, I didn't get it at your age either....

hmmmmm did I say something about hurting your feelings or offending you?

  • You know what if that "cute little man" gets the nod, I might vote for him instead of Obama. He wants to legalize pot and he has some good idea's on the economy and he wants to bring our troops home I just hope he doesn't pick Rosie O'Donnell for his running mate. I heard she is running or was it the other Rosie ?

Yep, I'm sure I make my fair share of mistakes too.... especially when I'm commenting from my "smart phone" It thinks it's so darn smart.

But I happen to be pretty good with spelling and which words go where. If in doubt, a person could type a comment in Word, then paste it into a comment field. But I'm a bit too lazy for that much of an effort. It is what it is.

CJW, I've taken alot of Psychology classes, and I agree entirely. There are sure alot of reasons for alot of behavior.

My thought on alot of it is, with the literature there is abounding .... to be read, there is really not that much of an excuse. But, someone has to 'admit' the issue first, to start 'getting help/better' And of course, they don't usually want to admit it.

Interesting to watch at times though, huh?

  • I get that vibe too. There are a lot of contradictions posted in the comments and I won't point them out to anyone.

My stand and I think for the most part anyone else's stand is that our country is slipping down into the mire of contention and is being held hostage by greedy and powerhungry individuals. The only way to send a clear message is by our votes. And even then, they haven't taken us seriously enough.

I still blame the campaign process for being so corrupt. If we were able to limit the time to run for office to a short period of time like they do in England. Our lives would be considerably less complicated. (6) weeks for the primary process and (6) weeks for the general elections.

The media would have to move on to other things and we would not have to endure the mud-slinging.

Maybe, we should all write our names in for the elections. It might say something to someone.

  • ZOOK.....VIGINIA just repealed a law that had limited gun purchases to 1 a month. Now the 1 a month made no sense ok.The repeal only reinstates the law which is the 2nd amendment...purchase what you want.....if you are a criminal to purchase is illegal anyhow. right? so why did we need the law?....sounds to me like the beauracrecy gone wild.It WOULD SEEM TO ME THE FOCUS SHOULD BE ON ILLEGAL PURCHASE SPECIFCALLY CRIMINALS(FELONS)

I AM WONDERING IF THE SOCIETY HAS BEEN WATCHING TO MANY COPS AND ROBBERS MOVIES OR WETHERE WE ARE REACTING TO A TIME THAT IS NO LONGER WITH US.OR ARE WE LOOKING AT LIMITING AS A PREVENTION because it's not.

    JUST THOUGHT ID MENTION IT.

As completely baffled as I am by most of your posts, sir, I absolutely loved this one.

I see the Dems and Reps constantly fighting aver who is the most victimized and who views themselves as the most infallible. I suspect that the reasons you think all Dems believe that none can do any wrong is that you don't choose to spend much time talking to them, but rather the strawmen that you very meticulously construct for them. (the VERY same is true for Dems, btw, I just happen to be addressing you at the moment.)

But, sir, I was wondering if you'd permit me to suggest that you should be down with the Occupy crowd tryingto get your (and their) stated goals accomplished TOGETHER, instead of blasting each other over the unrelated politics. NO ONE is happy with our government right now. It ALL needs to change. They've gotten too comfy and believe they are no longer beholden to, or OF the People right now. Mitt Romney would be horrifying for this country and would serve only to further this rampantly anti-American establishment we call the Federal government.
