It's some thing in the air, I SWEAR. Had the same smiles at my REAL house.

WOW - Good to think that many (2+) USED (paused to) the gift of our collective being(s) for head off to the NEXT installment in this Don KEY-HO-T

quest for "something in the air"

    SINCERELY YOURS

Merry Christmas to you Mike! Wayne and I had family to a couple dinners. We determined to share ourselves, and spend only on Grandchildren, and small amounts also. Done deal, and no one less happy. We had some great family get togethers. That's what we wanted...and we said Merry CHRISTmas alot.

  • That is kind of what David and I did this year. He bought me an old lariat. A nice memento and very special to me.

    Zook,

I think most people have lost the true meaning of Christmas. But what the true meaning is to some is different for others. To me it is being able to help another, even in a small way.

I have 60 nepalese gurkas that work for me here in Afghanistan. Out of those 60 guys 3 are christian. These three guys and myself, drove to another FOB for Christmas Eve service at the chapel there. I am not a big chruch going guy, but to be able to offer these three guys, Madan, Chandra, and Dipendra the opportunity to celebrate Christmas with fellow christians was wonderful. None of them had ever celebrated Christmas with other christians, due to the part of the world they come from.

It is a memory they wont soon forget. It was hard not to laugh as they sang Christmas songs in the chapel, with the Nepalese accent...
