Not For The “Squeamish”

Well....it seems yet ONCE AGAIN, I have to draw (post) pictures, to CLARIFY to a few on the left....and maybe a few others....why I do not embrace and respect our enemies as equal warriors in the strife of life.

I'm going to show you in NO UNCERTAIN TERMS, why a bit of this "hatred" of mine that everyone thinks I hold onto like a wallet, still exists....and why I do NOT see YOUR "progressive vision" through the same "rose-colored", "melting-pot" glasses as some of YOU do!

What created THIS blog, was the one on our veteran's remains being dumped in a landfill, and even on THIS blogsite, I was stunned by some of the responses.

First of all, I have the ULTIMATE respect for OUR veterans, past and present, of which I am proud to be one. I also have respect for our OPPONENTS who were out there following THEIR orders as we were following ours.

Even in Vietnam, where "Pop Salinas and I went BACK in 2005, I've had mutual respect for our enemies, The North Vietnamese fought us in "heads-up" battles and firefights.

These guys probably weren't born yet when Pop & I came to Khe Sanh the first time, and fought here atop Hill 861, but their fathers/uncles were worthy adversaries, and all the fellowship here in 2005 was genuine. We had a great time.

Even today, we still look at these guys as "brothers on the field."

...............and all of us HERE are brothers.....................................

But THIS guy and HIS vermin little army aren't "brothers in the field"....they aren't "fellow warriors to be RESPECTED".....................

They are SNEAKS!

Even back on the "Hill", all up & down "Hooligan's Row", there was a code of honor where you duked it out face-to-face if you had a hard enough gripe. You didn't just go and set fire to his family's house or anything like that.

So you'd probably have to say that my "MEAN-SPIRITED HATEFUL ATTITUDE" was rooted even further back than Potrero Hill....and much came from my dad and my uncles.

I used to love it when they'd get together, and I'd listen to their "remember when" stories. THEY had been teenagers in 1941.......and YA KNOW WHAT??????

Believe it or not.............THEY didn't like "SNEAKS" EITHER!!

......any more than their NEPHEW DOES TODAY!!

Now.......The "Red Baron" was brought up in another posting..........the difference between an "honored foe" like Baron Von Richtoffen and dirtbags like THESE, are that, with the "Red Baron"........all EIGHTY of them had a chance to fight back.

"ZOOK" is alive today because HE had a rifle in HIS hands too.......just like "Charlie did". "Pop" and I had a good visit in 2005 because it HAD been an "equal opportunity" fight. The Vietnamese treated us well, and we did the same. But the Vietnamese are not religious fanatics.

This horse-dung of flying airplanes into buildings, and strapping explosives to themselves and just blowing up innocent civilians in marketplaces and malls, DOESN'T CUT IT WITH ME.........yet we're supposed to be "gracious and not OFFEND them or their culture".......a religious belief that CALLS for the KILLING of all "infidels"

Now....if you're "squeamish"....you need to stop right here..........

Okay.... I warned ya............While Eric Holder pulls in the reins on the CIA's use of "waterboarding" "because it's INHUMANE, and WE DON'T DO that..........our "fellow battlefield adversarial brethren" who I'm chastized for NOT RESPECTING........do things just a bit DIFFERENTLY when they catch one of OUR guys........

They might be YOUR brothers, but they ain't MINE!................

And while we're on the subject....THESE HOMEGROWN VERMIN aren't my brothers either!......

But THESE folks ARE!....(although the left INSISTS on comparing the occupiers with OUR movement).

Can you tell the differences here?.........one side FLIES our flag

....and the OTHER side DRAWS FLIES to it..........oh well, no big deal......they're "JUST LIKE US!"......the media SAYS so....and THEY wouldn't lie!

Some folks just have no clue why I get as riled as I do from time to time. Have we become so institutionalized in media & government propaganda, that we've forgotten HOW to be Americans?

Do we stand up for OURSELVES anymore....or just stand for what everyone else thinks we should?

The one photo I DON'T have here, is one that most of us have seen already on the internet. People are watching a parade from a curbside street, and when the flag comes by, the ONLY ONE who stands, is that old guy getting up from his wheelchair.

A few of you objected to my disdainment of this piece of filth getting burial rites on a U.S. Carrier. Well, that's just TOO BAD! I do NOT hold this piece of garbage in ANY KIND OF PARITY that would warrant a single degree of "respect" alongside any of our former "straight-UP enemies".........who WOULD fight you on the same playground and leave innocent people OUT of it.

On 861.........125 of us could shoot back

......at the World Trade Center..................3,000 innocent people could NOT!

Oh you bet----------YOU BET---------you can bet your LAST DOLLAR that old "HATEFUL, MEAN-SPIRITED ZOOK" is NOWHERE NEAR being "politically correct."

These people aren't "fellow international warriors",......they're nothing but MURDERERS.

YOU "respect" them if you wish.

I will not.

Nothing to argue with in any of this, Mike. Keep the good thoughts flowing. As I have been saying for a long time....until something else really awful happens in this country, our citizens will not stand together.

Our borders are not safe...period. Until we get someone in charge who is to the right of Lou Dobbs, say, we are all at risk. All of our troops and money at home is the next step. If we are all together, we can watch ourselves just fine.

Totally agree with your disdain of Bin Laden. Totally. I'm also quite dismayed at him being likened to a soldier who fought & so deserving of aa Military Ceremony. He was not near similar. Seems we have forgotten, such a slap in the face. We spent money on his burial. Good money following bad.

If someone comes into my home & rapes and/or brutalized my children, they are dead. No ceremony, just finished....They were not honorable or respectful. They will get none from me.

An eye for an eye. He will face his Maker asap & receive whatever Honor he deserves, rightly so.

Everyone, regarding my last post. I campaigned for Frank Church in 1968 and was ready to do so many times again. As a "newbee" member, I asked permission based in part on Bazookaman's last blog and my upbringing.

I liked Frank Church, he was the last of his breed. So many families benefited from his stewardship to his office.

At the end I was disappointed with the Panama Vote, but I will continue to respest his memory.

I agree totally with you Zook about this particular enemy. They do not respect their own peoples lives let alone ours. What makes it scary is that they will not hesitate to take out civilians.

In Independence, they had a Mayor's Prayer Breakfast with a guest speaker who had been a Muslim and converted to Christianity. He had also been a terrorist and was trained with that mentality growing up. People were more afraid of offending Muslims in the community by having him speak than to listen to what he had to say, which was not hateful, but a simple statement of the facts as he experienced them.

Thankfully, the Mayor stuck to his guns and kept to principals to allow this man to speak. I looked him up on the internet, he has a book out and a web site. He has a very interesting story to tell. He did not rail against the Muslim people, but did share his experiences of being on both sides of the fence.

If he ever comes back to Independence, I think that I would go to hear him speak.

ZOOK ........I DONT CARE THE RIGHT FEELS THAT THEY ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE THAT KNOW RIGHT FROM WRONG.....the stereo types employed in the conversations right here say that loud and clear.
