  • I think that same way about Cain.

  • Cain is the flavor of the month

if you read stories about Obama in USA today and look at the comments that are being made, it is a huge change from 2008-2009.

No One is doing their job as far as I am concerned.

  • Ha Ha ! Got you all nervous didn't I? Think about it the polls will change over and over again until we get closer to the election 2012.

I got that bit of news from the TV this morning

I love how you Repubs ban together.......

You can find all the polls you want that will fit your agenda. Turn to another channel, surf the internet. No one really knows for sure until we get close to the election and we see some actual numbers....... HA HA HA

You seem so desperate in making sure you get your polls out there....... Show me the polls !! Ha Ha! You gave me a good chuckle this morning !

  • I used USA Today as a resource to suggest to you. Attitudes are changing and not for the better.

Sure Polls will change but what isn't changing is our financial situation. It is bad and will continue to get worse if someone doesn't buckle down to the job and quit campaigning.

I mean everyone on this. I am not desperate for anything. Polls are subjective, but doing your own poll by reading about what people are thinking as the news gets reported is even more revealing that finding sources on the internet.

I have seen a huge shift from comments of Give the Man a Chance to If his lips move, he is lying. Worst President since Carter. very different than in 2008 and 2009 and even 2010.

Harry Reid refused a vote a few days ago about the Jobs Act in the Senate.

If we know how budgets must be cut and how to change our spending habits, it is should be expected of our elected officials. It isn't rocket science, but it might as well be.

If you could declare a complete spending freeze on memorials, medical studies, enviromental studies and other grants in addition to expense accounts, and cuts in their pensions, we would see a glimmer of hope. But No One is willing to tighten their belts as long as their dog is still in the hunt.

If we cut out all services to illegal aliens and send the transportation bills to each country that we deport them to. There would be a huge savings there.

If we limit campaign schedules and take a percentage of all funds raised by each party as part of debt reduction. After all, they are doing this on our time mostly,

We could raise as much money as Obama has in his war chest for his campaign. Why don't we ask him to donate to the cause too? After all a trillion dollars could go a long way to eliminating the debt.

Take one for the Team Obama. All of your press coverage is free, why not invest in America like you have asked all of us to?

There. You don't make me nervous, you make me energized with ideas on how to cut the debt. Thank you!

  • I think I still have you both nervous and upset... If I didn't neither one of you would of responded to me. HA HA Enjoy your Day as much as I am.....

and KH Gal thank you for your lovely comment :)

You seem to do ok giving out your comments !

  • Point taken. Please read USA todays'readers comments on USA Today's articles about Obama.

I am glad that I was able to make you laugh.

  • KH Kal Give me the link, or the name of the story because I'm not sure which article your wanting me to read.

Won't be cain 2012 Christie just endorsed Romney

  • hahahahahahaha CJW where the heck you been?

-- Posted by MsMarylin on Tue, Oct 11, 2011, at 12:48 PM
  • You don't have to pick and choose, any article about Obama seems to raise ire. Check the Oval Section.

-- Posted by KH Gal on Tue, Oct 11, 2011, at 12:52 PM
  • As Tammy Faye used to say "It's not over until its over"

-- Posted by MsMarylin on Tue, Oct 11, 2011, at 12:55 PM
  • Well I checked and it don't appear to be to many comments and for all I know they could be Republicans leaving comments or even kids not old enough to vote... Doesn't tell me a thing ! The only thing that will be telling is the election Nov 2012

-- Posted by MsMarylin on Tue, Oct 11, 2011, at 1:06 PM
  • When some one endorses a candidate it does mean one vote from the endorser, but just think of all the others who will vote for Romney just because Christie endorsed him. In politics its very important who endorses who.

I really don't think your going to get the chance to vote for Cain in the 2012 election...

-- Posted by MsMarylin on Tue, Oct 11, 2011, at 1:10 PM
  • Keep Checking and you will see a pattern and it isn't because of underage children or Republicans. I have been reading these for the past several years and I can tell you how different it is now compared to past years.

Especially when USA Today hates to say anything bad about our President or his policies.

MSNBC has been changing on readers comments too.

I only mention this because you want an unbiased source for your information. I am still waiting for hard-hitting news coverage about the Fast and Furious Issue.

  • Don't forget the debate tonight......

Donna glad you donated to his campaign. From what I have heard which I don't agree with, but its all about who has the most money

-- Posted by MsMarylin on Tue, Oct 11, 2011, at 2:50 PM
  • I'm happy I can inspire. Each day when I wake up I never know what accomplishment I will make for the day....

It would make me more happy if everyone who was of age to vote, would go to their local polling booths and vote..

I'm with you Zook I am excited to watch the debate tonight. Pay attention to Huntsman and then tell me what you think..... I like him but I gotta hear him more.

You wanted me to read USA Today and I did

here's something for you to read and I will give you the link

I have noticed with each debate how Bachman is always talking about taking in 20 some foster kids and was thinking when watching the debate tonight "here we go again with the foster kids" and then she couldn't even get the number of kids right. lol !

  • Me too. I thought that they gave Romney too much air time. Perry looked like a deer in the headlights. His stage make-up was all wrong too.

Huntsman gave some good answers, I think he would make a good advisor for China relations, but so far I am not unduly impressed.

Ron Paul did better. Bachman should have relaxed a little and put forth more personality instead of sound bites. I still like her though.

I am glad that they are willing to do these debates, I liked the table formation better, everyone had to be a little more friendly to each other.

  • Well I had a bit of a problem last night. We have dish tv and the channel it was airing on, we don't get. Then about an hour into the debate I realized that I could hook my laptop up to my tv and search for the debate on the internet. I found the debate on the Washington Post web site which was live streaming. So I hit the play button and got the debate onto my TV. Only problem then was what I had already missed.

I did see Cain answer a couple questions and he got a little creative in his answer about the protester's on Wall Street. He changed up his statement a little.

I liked Ron Paul, for some reason he reminds me of a character on an old TV show, can't think of who it is....

I think Newt always gives good answers. I didn't get to hear to much from Huntsman or Santorum. I hope to find the debate online and watch the whole thing sometime today

I skimmed through the Huff-Puff Post. I noticed the numbers too but you have to realize that people get tired and jumble things up a bit after a while.

I was hoping that she would act more natural instead of repeating a mantra. I want that for all of the candidates.

That being said, Huffington Post is not my cup of tea anymore than FoxNews is yours. I try to view the reader's comments as much as the articles themselves on anything that I read.

The reason for that is although, you have die-hard commenter or two, there are those people out there who really write what they are thinking.

The biggest point of change that I have seen is the attitude of the USA Today Readers. Their point of view has done a complete 360 in most cases. I find that significant.

You find comments on Fox News that will surprise you too.

The crux of the matter is that we are in a mess and not too much is being done from either side. but you have to try something different if it is obvious that the wagon master doesn't have a clue where the trail is.

  • I prefer to know who the person is and what he will do for our Country before he gets my vote!! I'm not going to vote just for anyone.....

Sounds pretty childish if your voting just to get an incumbent out..... You never know what your going to get unless you do the research first!!

    KH GAL

Bachman getting her foster kids count wrong didn't bother me as much as she came off to me like she was using that point to get votes or to brag. We've probably had just as many kids come through our house or possibly more... I don't brag about the numbers, in fact I never really counted how many kids we have helped....

I have watched fox news in fact I watched it the other night when they had Hank Williams Jr on there.... I have watched all the other talking heads on TV but the one I watch every morning is CNN or HLN or In Sessions..... Evenings I catch our local news and thats about it for me, except for now and then I watch some fun shows or if I can't find any thing I want to watch, I will channel surf and watch a little of this and a little of that...

  • I see where Senator McCain wants to cut.

According to the Associated Press, Senator McCain (R-AZ) sent a letter to the budget supercommittee in which he reportedly offers his recommendation that the bipartisan committee support the President's proposals to cut retiree TRICARE benefits, introduce new TRICARE for Life enrollment fees and overhaul the military retirement and compensation systems.
