Some of the “Other Livestock” Around Here
Our insurance company LOVES us, they even send us a Christmas card every year.........but they DO give us good rates. Donna says we need a new house with a bigger garage.......I say we need a HANGAR! Everything runs & drives though------licensed and insured, so there's never any problem with the neighbors. Anyway, I was looking through the discs this morning, and when I go to Boise this morning after my therapy, I'll have to figure out what to drive. It'll most likely be one of the Bugs (gas mileage).......But I thought I'd share a few of them with y'all,,,,,,,(those who like old cars, anyway).
This is Donna's 67 Mercury Cougar (taken last spring, currently under restoration)
The big block "390" puts plenty of "scat" in THIS "cat!"
My old 64 Ford Fairlane 500. Nothing special, just a good old car. Has a little "260" small block in it with a 3-speed manual "3-on-the-tree."
Here's one you don't see very often, Donna's 56 DeSoto Fireflite. Hemi V-8 has been rebuilt (witch-hunt for parts), just needs paint and a touch of interior trim now.
Our house seems "bug-infested" at times. The yellow 73 "Super Beetle and the 66 "Baja" behind it are mine. This little green 62 convertible is one we restored for Donna.
Donna calls my 66 "Baja Bug" the "Little Beast", because in her words, it has "ATTITUDE". I suppose it DOES. Originally a desert racer from Yuma, it has a 1915cc in it, with a "120" race cam, 2-barrel Weber carb and header exhaust. It makes around 105 horsepower (opposed to 60, for a standard Super Beetle). It'll go!
And I gotta go too...........get ready for therapy............Later y'all!
