Not Dressed Up.....and Places To Go
This is Saturday morning, Donna's getting ready for another "fun-filled day" at Wally-World, and as I often do afte breakfast & a shower, I'll probably just grab a cup of coffee, stroll around Railroad Park to see if there's anybody down there I know, then head out to the gun shop, where I'm still waiting for the UPS truck to show up with my new Ruger.
Problem THIS morning is.......I'm not quite sure how to "dress" today. As many of you know, I "carry", both openly and concealled, but not always the same gun. Depends on what kind of mood I'm in....just like if you had 2 or 3 different vehicles.......which one?......to go where?
Generally I carry one of the 357's. On those rare days when I pull my old 56 Olds out of storage for a "joy ride", I pack one of the 38 "snubbies" or the Walther, so the grips of the holstered gun isn't "digging" into the front seat as I drive.
One of my 44 Magnums has the shorter 4-inch barrel and is fairly easy to carry, on those occasions when I get a "6th sense" to carry it.
Sometimes, I just like to be "sarcastically political." When Reid & Pelosi were calling us tea-partiers a bunch of NAZI's......I packed my old German Luger around for a few days, just so my "blog anti-fans" wouldn't be disappointed if they saw me in public..........(The Luger is the perfect old "NAZI gun, and I certainly didn't want to let anybody down, ya' know!)
But now that I'm a tea-bagging "terrorist", I'm not really sure what to do. I don't have any "dynamite vests" or "Molatov Cocktails"...........I DO own an AK-47, but walking around in public with one of THOSE tends to freak people out when they see that 30-round "banana" magazine sticking out of it!
Gee....I guess I'll just have to be politically IN-correct today, eh?
.........."Zook-------you are ALWAYS politically IN-correct".............
Yeah, so I guess there's no sense breaking a streak. I'll just pack something "AMERICAN" today, and REALLY irritate a bunch of 'em!
Maybe I'll see a few of you out there today in my travels. It DOES look like we're gonna have a pretty nice day, though....so everyody have a GOOD ONE!
See ya later!
