G-Force
A group of highly government trained guinea pigs attempt to stop an evil billionaire from destroying the world in "G-Force."
In the film, directed by Jerry Bruckheimer, the "G-Force" comprised of squad leader Darwin (Sam Rockwell), weapons expert Blaster (Tracy Morgan), martial artist Juarez (Penelope Cruz), cyber intelligence expert Speckles (Nicolas Cage) and a high tech surveillance fly Mooch (Edwin Louis) is tasked to stop an plan of world domination with the use of household appliances.
Before the team can pursue the evil billionaire (Bill Nighy), they are shut down by the FBI and sentenced to a local pet shop where they encounter a pet shop layabout Hurley (Jon Favreau) and rabidly territorial hamster Bucky (Steve Buscemi).
As the team is seperated when Juarez and Blaster are bought and Hurley and Darwin escape the cage, their efforts to thwart the evil plan is put to the ultimate test, but unbeknowst to them there is a mole in their midst, both literally and figuretively.
Sure this movie, was meant to be outright silly and it is, but the movie wasn't too long and the premise is fun to watch and perfect for kids.
The voiceovers were hilarious, and I mention Nicolas Cage as the voice of Speckles, but when you watch the film you won't know its Nicolas Cage until the closing credits.
The action sequences were great, of course this being a Jerry Bruckheimer film, I wouldn't however put his movie under the same light as Up or Monsters vs. Aliens but this is a decent fun kids flick. For my score, the three reels is for kids, for adults this would be a two reel movie.

That was my review, now see what two young fellow critics thought of G-Force.
