20 Seasons of D'oohhhhh
In the great debate, South Park versus Family Guy, what is forgotten is that the show that started it all The Simpsons, now celebrating it's 20th season on the air.
In those 20 seasons, The Simpsons have recorded 445 episodes and won an unprecedented 10 Emmy awards for Outstanding Animated Series.
The Simpsons have left their mark on television history, with the current cast signed on for the next four seasons, the show will peak the 500 episode mark, trailing only Gunsmoke with 633 and Lassie with 588 for the most episodes of an entertainment series.
The show has also spawned a feature-length film that garnered $526 million dollars worldwide and the Simpsons Ride, that premiered at Universal theme parks in California and Florida.
For the 20th season, the show will feature new celebrity voice overs that include:
* Robert Forster who will voice a bail bondsman that Homer hires during the premier episode.
* Anne Hathaway who voices a girl that that Bart tries to impress being a good Samaritan.
* Seth Rogen who will voice a trainer for Homer when he gets to picked to play a movie superhero.
* Sports figures Mark Cuban, Marv Albert and Jeff Bezos are featured in an episode in which Lisa contests Mr. Burn's new sports arena.
* Denis Leary will be featured in an episode when Bart gets Leary's cellphone and proceeds to make prank phone calls pretending to be Leary.
* Juno star Ellen Page will voice pop teen singer Alaska Nebraska.
* Kenneth Branagh will be featured in an episode when Homer and Grampa buy an Irish Pub
* And returning as Sideshow Bob, Bart's perennial would be killer is Kelsey Grammar and Joe Mantegna returns as mobster Fat Tony,
Rounding the celebrity guest voices is Jodie Foster who will voice a grown-up Maggie, years after Elizabeth Taylor voiced the character's first words, "Daddy."
