I think Obama would make a great Jeopardy host. He is smart enough to win the office of President twice. That's a pretty rare accomplishment.

There is a big difference in the way democrats and or liberals are wired compared to Tea Party (see I'm being nice) extremists. One group is relatively happy with life and where this country is heading. The other group seems to want to make up enemies, and see the bad man all around them. This unhappy group is mad, angry and most continue to froth at the mouth if a democrat has gas.

Just like at work and in social situations, no one wants to associate with or be around the grouchy old guys who complain and whine about every ache, pain and change in the world. What makes matters worse is the constant stream of untruths the Tea Party spreads. Sometimes you cannot fix what is broken. Other times it's best to let the Tea Party look and play their favorite roll of circus clowns.

My posts will be very limited here. I understand the Mt Home News has an obligation to moderate posts so as to not offend their core Tea Party fans. The GOP has had the house for the last cycle nothing has changed some of the extreme people got voted in and out in that 2 yr cycle.The dems have won nothing,if the country cant move forward.The president does not control the economy and it would behove people to understand that.He can suggest and attempt to put policy's in place to influence but he doesn't control it.With that said maybe just maybe if he got some help from the GOP and a little less were going to hammer him at all cost, we might get something done. just maybe.

Lamont, you made some valid points. For the record, yes the Bush family is a great example of of a political dynasty. They are as close to royalty as the Kennedys and Rockefellers. I was never a fan of the Bush regime. Also, one would have to be an idiot to presume that racism isn't alive and well today.
