The idea behind Robert's Random is for me to write about whatever I'm thinking about whenever I'm thinking it. I try to write 3-5 times a week, but sometimes real work gets in the way of that. Sometimes I'll share whatever random thought I might have that day but most of the time, I like to write about things going on in the news. I'm a total news junkie, I spend a lot of time online at various news sites. If I find a story where someone does something totally stupid or I wonder "what were they thinking?" I don't mind pointing it out incase others missed it or taking my best guess at what they were thinking. I like to laugh, I like to make others laugh. There's so much serious and wrong stuff going on in the news that when I find an unusual or light story, I like to use it. And while real life news events might be the focus of many of my blogs, I'm just trying to entertain you, make you laugh and maybe even think about something you didn't know before reading. I'm not trying to break any serious news or deliver any hard-hitting coverage. You'll have to read a paper or watch one of the network shows for that.
I want to waste my life aWii
I've decided I never want to do anything with the rest of my life. Ever. Again.
All I want to do is get a Nintendo Wii and play it every day. All. Day. Long.
This is why I have put off purchasing one for so long. I know as soon as I do, that's all I'm going to do and I won't get anything done ever again for the rest of my life.
After spending a few hours multiple times the past couple of weeks at a couple of friend's houses who have Wii's, I've decided I need to get one. My life productiveness can decrease for my overall entertainment value to increase, I'm OK with that.
I don't need to do homework, pay any bills, cook dinner or go on runs. Give me Wii bowling, tennis and baseball and I'll be set. (And perhaps a good drink or two.)
I'd like to purchase a used one, because I'm sure there are a lot of people out there that just had to have a Wii, then got tired of it three months down the road. I'm not 100 percent sure I won't get tired of mine, if I can find one at a good price, three months down the road. Though, I'm pretty sure I'll still be standing in front of the TV working on my tennis serve in three months.
So if anyone is trying to sell their Wii, let me know please.
Thanks
