The idea behind Robert's Random is for me to write about whatever I'm thinking about whenever I'm thinking it. I try to write 3-5 times a week, but sometimes real work gets in the way of that. Sometimes I'll share whatever random thought I might have that day but most of the time, I like to write about things going on in the news. I'm a total news junkie, I spend a lot of time online at various news sites. If I find a story where someone does something totally stupid or I wonder "what were they thinking?" I don't mind pointing it out incase others missed it or taking my best guess at what they were thinking. I like to laugh, I like to make others laugh. There's so much serious and wrong stuff going on in the news that when I find an unusual or light story, I like to use it. And while real life news events might be the focus of many of my blogs, I'm just trying to entertain you, make you laugh and maybe even think about something you didn't know before reading. I'm not trying to break any serious news or deliver any hard-hitting coverage. You'll have to read a paper or watch one of the network shows for that.
Doing my part in helping Fox News fight terrorism
The war on terror has been going on for quite some time now. Much like WWII, it's going to take the help and sacrifice of many to win it.
Fortunately, the war on terror got a big boost when Fox News decided to get involved this past week.
It was Fox News' Michelle Malkin who outed TV chef Rachael Ray as a terrorist. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24860437/?GT1=43001
Ray is clearly shown here wearing a scarf that, "resembled a kiffiyeh, Middle Eastern garb that is "popularized by Yasser Arafat and a regular adornment of Muslim terrorists appearing in beheading and hostage-taking videos."
You can see the similarity between Ray's scarf and this guy who may or may not be an actual terrorist I found using Google image: http://www1.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/1696564/2/istockphoto_1696564...
Ray was wearing it during a Dunkin' Doughnut commercial. If you've never had the pleasure of eating a Dunkin' Doughnut doughnut, you'll missing out.
When we lived in Ohio, my mom would sometimes stop by the store late at night for a surprise and welcomed treat.
I love, and missed, Dunkin' Doughnut so much that when I backpacked through the East Coast a few summers ago, I stopped at nearly everyone I walked by in Boston and New York. When I got lost in Boston trying to find the original Cheer's, I stopped at three of them on the way.
Anyways, I am glad that my favorite doughnut shop I can't eat at because there aren't any in Idaho has stopped running the ad encouraging terrorism.
Never mind she's standing in the middle of a U.S. city and instead of holding a gun, she's holding what appears to be an iced coffee. Through, she is advertising a fast food restaurant and according to the four seconds I spent researching it, 280,000 Americans die each year from obesity and obesity-related problems.
I'm sure that's a whole lot more deaths than all the terrorist are going to cause together this year, but who's keeping track, right?
Ray isn't the only terrorist Malkin has called out. It appears too that Colin Farrell, Kanye West and Howard Dean have worn "distinctive hate couture" scarves.
According to this Christian blog that might be the only group around more right-wing than Fox News, these scarves are available at Urban Outfitters. http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://worshippingchristian.org/images/bl...
Fox News shouldn't have fight the war on terror themselves. I'm willing to do my part too.
For example, I found this picture of actress Kristen Dunst, who's work as a red head I praised a few weeks ago. She might be a terrorist too.

There's this girl: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://bp0.blogger.com/_wmaYDsHuOQI/Ri_0N...
And this guy from NBC's Today Show: http://newsbusters.org/media/2005-12-09-NBCTodayMatt.jpg
And my favorite terrorist, Frosty: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://lh3.google.com/_PiBTAD70QJk/R-gB-f...
This lady is wearing a scraf too, but she's probably not a terrorist because she's wearing a solid color and it appears terrorist only were multicolored scarves. http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j182/swiftian/022707/bush_veil3.jpg
